I work for Postmates and deliver a lot of food- and go to dozens of restaurants daily. I also was a regional manager for a restaurant company and have twenty-five years of experience. This place is simply amazing. I was so impressed by how they treated me- and every guest they had- I was given water without requesting it- that I had to try their food.

And boy am I ever glad I did!

Trust me on this- you need Thanh Binh in your culinary world!

If you enjoy unpretentious, delicious Vietnamese food, this is the place for you.

Tucked in a strip mall(albeit a newly renovated one) off Rockfield road, this little gem is a fab lunch spot for many local businesses (I worked at one of those).

Ambiance is pretty basic - but oh the food!  Our staples are:  egg rolls, spring rolls, Chicken Pho/Pork Pho and the oxtail... try a small side of the fall-off-the -bone goodness... super flavorful.

The staff are friendly and at this point, remember our drink orders as we walk in.

Give this place a try... would love to hear what you thought of it.

I'm originally from the Garden Grovr/Westminster area, and this place has nothing compared to that area. Lol. My boyfriend ordered the Pho w oxtail and it was pretty bland. The soup tasted like they hadn't stewed the meat long enough. The brisket was SUPER tough and dried out, I had to spit it out and into my napkin. They skimp you on the meat as compared to other pho places and what you're given isnt at all worth the price.

I ordered the house special fried rice and it was wack lmao. It didnt taste fried. It tasted like the other ingredients were cooked alongside the rice. It was also super bland as well. No amount of soy sauce helped and I took the rest to-go so I could fix it when I got home.

    Not coming back.

I should have read the reviews that most people came here for their oxtail pho. I got their dac biet (special pho) and was severely disappointed.

Broth- super sweet. The broth was on the sweeter side. It also tasted like a floral taste to it, not sure if it was the water they use, because their tap water was also floral tasting. Did not like it at all. (1/5)

Meats- cut waaaay too thick, it was chewy. Pho meats are not meant to be cut so thick because they aren't the best cuts, so it turned out to be so chewy and had this boiled tasted. It was not good. Also the brisket was cut so thick that some pieces had some thick fat pieces. Yuck! (1/5)

It also did not help that my pho had a hair in it!! But when walking to the bathroom, I saw the kitchen, hallway and bathroom and that area, it was completely dirty and disgusting. Figures.

My fiancé got the oxtail and he said it was the best ox tail in pho. Hence extra star. He said the broth was sweet, but the saltiness if the oxtail kind of balance it out. Should have gotten ox tail, my bad!

I love the oxtail pho here. They serve you a plain bowl of pho and noodles with a generous side dish of oxtail. The oxtail is so soft and tender that it literally falls off the bone. Thanh Binh is much more generous with their oxtail meat portions than any other pho place I've been to in Orange County and Westminster/ Garden Grove.

Service is friendly, food is served really fast and they also offer all items to-go. Plenty of parking in the strip mall parking lot. They accept credit cards. One of my favorite places for oxtail pho!
